Wedding Recap
My brother’s wedding was yesterday. It was joyful. Truly. I did all my ugly crying the night before and spent the day in the moment. There was much laughter and no awkward questions to answer. And as predicted, our middle daughter had to be peeled away from the dancing when it was time to leave. Simon did not make it for the wedding or pictures but that’s okay. He had a low key day at the house with his parents and friends from college.
Here is my brother and his bride.
Here is my brother with the kids and I. Yes, he is wearing an 8 Bit Tie and Fireflower boutonniere. I prepared you for that in a prior post, don’t act like you’re surprised.
Here’s our oldest and our youngest. Our middle was already in line for snow cones. Yes, there were snow cones.
Had to rock the photo booth by myself. Simon was there in spirit with his best duck lips.
End of the night selfie. My older brother made me get an iPhone so I could actually take decent pictures. Give me some grace for the learning curve.
Alex looks so beautiful. I’m so happy for you all.
You are still a beauty queen!
So sad we had to leave early… Looks like it was an absolute blast! But the important part of the day was the ceremony, which was absolutely wonderful and beautiful! So happy God let me be part of it!! Love you all! And truly, Kristy, you looked stunningly beautiful… Then, again, you always do!!
